2016 OHPO Report
The City of Kent's Community Development Department is required to complete an environmental review record (ERR) for every project funded with state and/or federal money. A section of the EER includes sending information on the scope of the activity to the Ohio Historic Preservation Office (OHPO) if the activity involves a historically recognized site or a physical structure that is 50 years of age or older.
The City entered into a Programmatic Agreement with the OHPO which identifies certain activities as exempt from OHPO. Although these activities are exempt from review, the City is still required to compile a list of activities classified as exempt and make the list available to the public by posting it on the City's website.
